Refund Policy
Last updated: May 9, 2026
We want you to pay only for what actually works for you. The 7-day free trial is intentionally generous so most teams never reach this page, but if you do end up wanting a refund, here is exactly how it works.
At a glance
- Monthly plan: no refunds after the first charge. Cancel any time; access continues through the end of the billing cycle.
- Yearly plan, 14-day full refund: request within 14 days of your first paid charge, no questions asked.
- Yearly plan, pro-rata refund: cancel in the first 30 days and we refund the unused portion automatically.
- After 30 days (yearly): cancel any time, service continues through the paid period, no refund for that period.
- License keeps working until the end of the current billing cycle, then PDF generation stops until you restart.
1. The 7-day trial
Every Subscription starts with a 7-day free trial. A card is required at signup, but you are not charged until day 8. If the Service is not for you, cancel before day 8 and you will never be billed.
2. Monthly plan: cancellation only
Monthly subscribers are not eligible for a refund after the first charge on day 8. You can cancel from the billing page at any time. Your access and license continue through the end of the current billing cycle. After that, PDF generation stops until you restart the subscription. No charge for the next cycle is issued once you cancel.
3. Yearly plan: 14-day full refund window
If you are on a yearly plan and within 14 days of your first paid charge decide ReportForge is not the right fit, open the billing page and click Request refund, or email support@reportforge.org from the address on your account. No questionnaire, no retention script. Refunds are issued via Razorpay to the original payment method and typically appear within 5–10 business days depending on your bank.
4. Yearly plan: pro-rata refund (days 15–30)
If you are on a yearly plan and request a refund between day 15 and day 30 of the paid period, we refund the unused portion of the year automatically. Use the Request refund button on your billing page. The dashboard calculates and issues the amount instantly. For example, if you paid ₹8,499 on day 1 and request a refund on day 20, we refund ₹8,499 × (365 − 20) / 365 ≈ ₹8,033. After 30 days this pro-rata option is no longer available. The Subscription continues through the end of the paid year, and you can cancel to prevent the next renewal.
5. Cancellation (any time)
You can cancel from the billing page in the dashboard at any time. Your Subscription remains active through the end of the current billing period; you do not lose access immediately. After the period ends, the Reporter stops generating PDFs until you restart the Subscription.
6. Chargebacks
Please contact us before initiating a chargeback; we almost always resolve issues faster than a bank dispute. Initiating a chargeback in place of contacting support may result in suspension of the account, pending resolution of the dispute with Razorpay.
7. Exceptions
We reserve the right to decline a refund in cases of abuse, for example repeated new-account-and-refund cycles on the same Razorpay customer, or evidence that the license was used at scale after the refund request. These cases are rare; we will always explain the reasoning if we decline.
8. Consumer protection
If you are a consumer (rather than a business) resident in a jurisdiction that grants statutory refund rights beyond this policy (e.g. EU 14-day distance-selling withdrawal), those statutory rights apply on top of this policy.
9. Contact
Most refunds can be self-served from the billing page in your dashboard. For anything outside the automated window (exceptions, billing errors, or disputes), email support@reportforge.org and include the email on your account and the approximate date of the charge so we can locate the Razorpay record quickly.
